Key Responsibilities
Greenfield Project Management
Lead the setup and establishment of the new manufacturing facility in Tumkur.
Coordinate with Japanese headquarters and project stakeholders during the plant setup phase.
Support factory launch, vendor development, and operational planning.
Organizational Setup & Hiring
Lead the initial hiring and organizational setup for the India operations.
Identify and recruit key team members across administration, HR, accounting, production, procurement, and sales support functions.
Establish the organizational structure and reporting lines for the local team.
Work with external recruitment partners to source and onboard suitable talent.
Business Operations
Oversee administration, HR, procurement, and sales coordination functions.
Establish local management systems, internal processes, and compliance frameworks.
Build and manage the initial local team and support future expansion.
Communication with Japan
Act as the primary communication bridge between India and Japanese management.
Translate and interpret business communication, reports, and meetings when necessary.
Management & Strategy
Support overall business strategy and operational planning in India.
Monitor budgets, vendor relationships, and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
