Job Purpose :
Develop, manage and optimise production schedule (CKD & local) to ensure timely production, efficient resource utilisation and optimum inventory levels. This role will act as a liaison between sales, procurement, and manufacturing to meet customer demands, reduce cost and resolve production disruptions.
Duties And Responsibilities :
Planning & Production Management
β’ Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for CKD & local production (short- and long-term) to meet customer demand.
β’ Thereafter place orders for CKD components to Merchandising Manager in alignment to season OTB.
β’ Monitor raw materials, components, and finished goods to prevent shortages or overstocking.
β’ Coordinate production workflows with internal (OIN) and external (OHQ) members to maximize productivity, minimize bottlenecks, and reduce costs.
β’ Partner with Sr. Sourcing Manager to ensure factory capacity for smoother production plan.
β’ Address production issues, such as material delays, component QC and find solutions.
β’ Plan and place orders for CKD components to global Merchandise department team for the Footwear (FTW) product category as per season OTB.
β’ Coordinate with global production team and local production team for dispatch tracking of CKD Components from global factory to warehouse and warehouse to local factory and then local factory to warehouse.
β’ Coordinate with logistics team for dispatching components to local factory and receivable of full shoe inward.
β’ Maintain detailed tracking reports for CKD component movement, production status, and finished goods inward.
β’ Prepare PO for the local factories after adding component cost and production cost.
β’ Locally source the MRP sticker and other packing materials.
β’ Share regular status updates with internal team for production and inward.
Experience / Skills Required :
β’ Minimum 2-5 yearsβ experience in demand planning, merchandising or production department in footwear industry.
β’ Strong knowledge and background of footwear market in India.
β’ Strong product planning experiences.
β’ Strong analytical and presentation/communication skills, fluent in English.
β’ A team player who is also a leader with strong organizational skills.
