We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Application Engineer to support CNC Machine Tools, Die Casting Machines (DCM), and Injection Molding Machines (IMM) businesses. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, sales teams, and service engineers to provide technical support, process optimization, machine demonstrations, and application development. This role requires strong manufacturing knowledge and the ability to recommend solutions that improve customer productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Application & Technical Support
Provide technical support for CNC Machine Tools, Die Casting Machines (DCM), and Injection Molding Machines (IMM).
Analyze customer manufacturing requirements and recommend suitable machining, casting, or molding solutions.
Conduct machine demonstrations, prove-outs, cycle time studies, and feasibility evaluations.
Develop machining processes, tooling recommendations, fixtures, and process improvement proposals.
Support machine acceptance trials (FAT/SAT) and customer qualification activities.
Assist customers in improving productivity, quality, cycle times, and operational efficiency.
Customer Engagement
Visit customer sites to understand production challenges and provide technical solutions.
Conduct technical presentations and application discussions with customers.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support alongside the sales team.
Act as a technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams.
Project & Process Development
Support implementation of new machine installations and production start-up activities.
Develop application data, machining parameters, process sheets, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with tooling suppliers, automation partners, and manufacturing teams to develop complete solutions.
Troubleshoot machining, casting, or molding process issues and recommend corrective actions.
Training & Knowledge Sharing
Conduct operator and customer training programs.
Support internal technical training for sales and service teams.
Stay updated on industry trends, manufacturing technologies, and competitor products.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Tool Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in application engineering, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or technical support.
Experience in one or more of the following:
CNC Machine Tools
Machining Centers
CNC Turning Centers
Die Casting Machines (DCM)
Injection Molding Machines (IMM)
Manufacturing Equipment
Hands-on experience with production environments and manufacturing processes.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, cutting parameters, and manufacturing practices.
Knowledge of die casting processes, molds, and production optimization is preferred.
Knowledge of injection molding processes, molds, and plastic manufacturing is preferred.
Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
Experience with process optimization, cycle time reduction, and productivity improvement.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is an advantage.
