Job Description
Project Planning & Execution • Lead full lifecycle management of new store construction projects from site handover to opening, including fit-outs, refurbishments, and relocations. • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestone trackers, ensuring alignment with UNIQLO's global store rollout calendar. • Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments for potential new store locations across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities in India. • Coordinate with the design team to review architectural drawings, MEP layouts, and shop drawings for compliance with UNIQLO brand standards. Vendor & Contractor Management • Identify, evaluate, and appoint general contractors, MEP contractors, and specialist vendors through a structured tendering process. • Negotiate contracts, manage purchase orders, and ensure competitive pricing without compromising quality. • Monitor contractor performance against agreed timelines and quality benchmarks, taking corrective action as needed. • Build and maintain a reliable vendor database for fit-out, signage, fixtures, and civil works across India. Budget & Cost Control • Prepare and manage project budgets, including preliminary cost estimates, BOQ reviews, and value engineering exercises. Key Responsibilities • Track project expenditure against approved budgets and provide regular cost reports to senior management. • Ensure timely processing of invoices, milestone payments, and final settlements in coordination with the Finance team.
Educational Qualification
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management. A Master's degree or PMP certification is preferred.
