Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Production Planning & Control (PPC) with strong expertise in customer schedule management, production planning, material planning, inventory control, and automotive supply chain operations. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience with Japanese manufacturing systems, ERP applications, IATF documentation, and OEM customer coordination.

Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Planning & Coordination
Manage customer schedules through OEM portals (MSIL, Honda, Isuzu, Yamaha, TKM, etc.).
Review annual volume forecasts and prepare master production schedules.
Confirm production capacity with customers.
Coordinate with customers regarding:
Forecast fluctuations
Additional demand
Schedule changes
End-of-Production (EOP) inventory
Handle both Domestic and Overseas customers including: Honda,Maruti Suzuki,Toyota Kirloskar (TKM),Isuzu, Yamaha India

2. Material Planning
Plan CKD child part ordering from overseas suppliers.
Manage local supplier ordering for child parts.
Understand: Air & Sea shipment lead times, Transit time planning, Packaging standards, Packaging approvals, Plan new project parts.

3. Production Planning
Prepare Monthly Production Plans for: Assembly, Press Shop, Prepare monthly shift plans.
Calculate manpower requirements based on production volumes.
Prepare Job Work plans.
Monitor: Cycle Time, Takt Time, Line Balancing
Control shelf-life materials used in production.

4. Inventory Management
Monitor and optimize inventory levels.
Control: CKD Inventory, Local Parts Inventory, Shelf-life Materials, Dead Stock, ECN/EOP Inventory
Perform monthly stock reconciliation.
Maintain Finished Goods inventory as per customer norms.
5. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain MIS reports as per IATF requirements.
Maintain all IATF documentation.
Prepare PV data and management presentations.
Support annual budget preparation.
6. Process Improvement & KPI Management
Monitor PPC departmental KPIs.
Participate in ECN implementation and Cross Functional Team (CFT) meetings.
Support implementation of TPS / Three Pillar activities.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Control in automotive manufacturing.
Hands-on experience in Material Planning and Inventory Management.
Experience working with Japanese OEM customers.
ERP knowledge (SAP preferred).
