Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical service to customers of Mitsui Chemicals India products and aligned businesses
• Support promoting Mitsui Chemicals solutions and troubleshooting for Rubber, Elastomer, TPV and other specialty compound applications. Handle customer complaints, product performance evaluations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Coordinate with HQ, R&D, production, quality, and external stakeholders for successful project execution.
• Work closely with automotive, footwear, Industrial and consumer durable customers on material selection, formulation support and processing optimization.
• Support marketing and business development activities for sales expansion in India

Educational Qualifications: Bachelors /Master’s Degree (preferred)
Professional Certification: Polymer/rubber technology, Plastic Technology/Engineering/ Chemical Engineering
Relevant Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in technical services or production

Technical skills:
• In-depth knowledge of plastics, elastomers, rubber materials and various applications
• Hands-on experience on major processing machines (twin-screw extruders, film lines, Banbury mixers, two-roll mills, extrusion, calendaring, foaming, injection molding and compression molding machines) and related testing equipment’s. Sufficient knowledge of compounding, mixing, curing and formulation development.
• Handling customer complaints and introducing new products and solutions within MCI or outside MCI products as per customer, market & application requirement
• Knowledge of QMS and other quality related tools would be added advantage
