Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Design Engineer to handle end-to-end HVAC system design for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. The candidate will be responsible for load calculations, system selection, drawings, BOQs, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technically sound and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare HVAC heat load calculations using industry standards (ASHRAE, ISHRAE, SMACNA)
• Design HVAC systems including VRF, Chillers, DX units, AHU/FCU systems
• Select equipment and prepare technical submittals
• Develop GA drawings, duct layouts, piping layouts, and schematics
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and design calculations
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and site teams
• Ensure designs comply with local codes, standards, and project specifications
• Support tendering, value engineering, and design optimization
• Provide technical support during execution and commissioning stages

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3–7 years of experience in HVAC design
• Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles and standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit MEP is an advantage)
• Experience with load calculation software (HAP, Trace, or equivalent)
• Good understanding of ducting, piping, insulation, and controls
• Strong coordination, communication, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in commercial buildings, hospitals, malls, hotels, or industrial projects
• Knowledge of LEED / energy-efficient HVAC system
