Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
●Sales growth and Revenue Management:
-Drive Primary and secondary sales targets in allocated Sales regions
-Increase sales by maintaining relationships with customers to drive sales and proposing new products and services
-Use data analysis of sales trends and dealer trends to ensure sustained quarter on quarter growth
-Work closely with distribution network to ensure product availability, visibility and Sales throughput
-Track Sales trends, analyze channel Performance to enhance sales productivity
-Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit terms
●Dealer Relationship Management:
-Build strong trusted long term relationships with existing and prospective dealers, as opposed to just transactional relationships to drive sustainable business growth both for the organisation as well as for dealers.
-Visit dealers regularly to understand business performance, challenges and opportunities
-Support dealers with necessary Product guidance/training, merchandising ideas and promotional tools
-Monitor Dealer Satisfaction and proactively resolve concerns
●Dealer Network Expansion:
-Identify potential Markets, Cities, and Towns for business Expansion.
-Prospect and appoint new Dealers who are aligned with brand Positioning
-Negotiate dealership Teams and onboard Dealer as per company Policy
-Maintain a comprehensive and updated database of Existing and prospective Dealers
-Plan for efficient and effective travel for optimal utilization of time and effort
●Developing new markets and promotion:
-In addition to traditional tableware stores and gift shops, will identify and actively develop potential customers in new categories such as home decor and high-end goods.
-Implement local Marketing and Promotional Plans to build brand visibility at retail level
-Organize product development and Sales engagement Activities to create excitement around the brand
-Liaise with Marketing team to ensure Marketing tools add value to sales efforts at all levels
-Encourage Dealers to try new things they have never tried before, such as introducing new products, innovative display methods, and sales promotions.
●Competitor and Market Intelligence
-Stay abreast of trends in the Indian Retail Market and identify new business opportunities
-Track Competitor Activities, new product introduction, pricing strategies of competitors
-Provide periodic insights and recommendations to management team
●Inter Departmental Coordination
-Have the ability to liaise with other departments likes sales operations and Accounts to ensure fulfilment of orders and drive matching of customer orders with existing inventory
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or any relevant discipline
