Job Purpose :
The Assistant Manager E-commerce will maintain the product database and work closely with the buyers and planners to maintain optimal product assortments and inventory allocation for E Commerce. Primary responsibilities will include development of all product descriptions, categorization, cross-sells, and attributions, update and customize contents. Responsibilities will also include all maintenance of search and navigation taxonomy, user filters and landing pages/collections.
Duties And Responsibilities :
ο E-Commerce Performance & Growth Optimization
β’ Monitor and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs including traffic, conversion rate, AOV, and UPT
β’ Analyse product- and category-level performance (sales, conversion, sell-through) to derive actionable insights
β’ Drive conversion rate and revenue growth through data-driven merchandising, content optimization, and on-site search improvements
β’ Manage and leverage first-party customer data to enhance customer understanding and retention.
ο Content & Site Merchandising Operations
β’ Create and manage product master data including copy, translations, images, and web-specific attributes
β’ Operate site merchandising and content execution based on marketing and monthly launch calendars
β’ Optimize content placements, site navigation, and on-site search to improve user experience and conversion
β’ Plan and execute e-commerce marketing promotions and seasonal changeovers
ο Key Account Management
β’ Coordinate with logistics and fulfilment teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing and delivery
β’ Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure seamless customer services, high customer satisfaction, and resolve issues quickly through the online store
β’ Manage relationships with third-party vendors and marketplace platforms
β’ Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, logistics, and IT, to ensure smooth e-commerce processes
Experience / Skills Required :
β’ Minimum 5 yearsβ experience in retail E Commerce preferably from premium to luxury brands
β’ Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and online sales channels
β’ Experience with web-based content management systems
β’ Experience with eCommerce platforms and web analytics tools
β’ Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignment
β’ Must be flexible and have the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
β’ Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Educational Qualification
Graduation in same field
