Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned HVAC Project Manager with extensive experience in
hospital and healthcare projects to lead end-to-end HVAC execution. The role
demands strong expertise in critical care environments, ensuring compliance with
healthcare standards, timelines, cost, and quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution
 Lead complete HVAC project lifecycle from design coordination to
commissioning & handover
 Develop detailed project schedules, execution strategies, and resource
planning
 Ensure timely delivery aligned with project milestones

2. Healthcare HVAC Specialization

 Execution of HVAC systems for:
o Operation Theatres (OTs)
o ICU / NICU
o Isolation rooms (positive & negative pressure)
o Clean rooms
 Ensure strict compliance with:
o NABH guidelines
o ASHRAE healthcare standards
o Infection control norms

3. Design Coordination
 Coordinate with consultants, architects, and client teams
 Review and approve:
o Shop drawings
o HVAC layouts
o Equipment selections
 Ensure seamless coordination with MEP services (clash-free execution)

4. Quality Assurance & Compliance
 Ensure execution as per approved drawings and specifications
 Implement hospital-grade filtration systems (HEPA / ULPA)
 Conduct inspections, testing protocols, and documentation

5. Commercial & Cost Control
 Monitor budgets and project cost
 Manage:
o Client billing & certifications
o Variation orders / claims
 Optimize procurement and minimize wastage

6. Team & Site Management
 Lead multidisciplinary teams:
o Site engineers
o Supervisors
o Contractors
 Manage manpower productivity and site coordination

7. Procurement & Vendor Management
 Handle procurement of:
o HVAC equipment (Chillers, AHUs, FCUs)
o Ducting, piping, insulation
 Ensure timely delivery aligned with execution schedule

8. Testing, Commissioning & Handover
 Supervise:
o Air balancing
o Pressure validation (critical for OTs & isolation rooms)
o Cleanroom certification
 Ensure smooth handover with complete documentation

Key Skills & Competencies
 Strong expertise in hospital HVAC & critical environments
 Knowledge of cleanroom validation & infection control systems
 Proficiency in:
o Primavera / MS Project
o AutoCAD
 Strong leadership, client handling & negotiation skills
 Commercial acumen for large-scale projects

Educational Qualification
 B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
 Additional certifications in HVAC / Project Management (preferred)

Preferred Experience
 Execution of hospital projects (200+ beds)
 Experience in multi-OT setups & critical care areas
 Handling HVAC projects worth ₹20 Cr – ₹100 Cr
