Job Description
The IT Manager will support in driving digital transformation, managing IT and e-commerce projects, and ensuring seamless integration across systems. This role will co-run initiatives with the Global IT Manager while independently owning specific project streams, focusing on efficiency, data-driven decision-making, vendor collaboration, and automation (including Excel VBA/macros and agentic AI exploration).
<DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES>
Project & Digital Execution
• Assist in planning and executing IT and e-commerce projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and work with vendors to deliver effective solutions
• Manage project documentation, timelines, RAID logs, and stakeholder communication using PM tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
• Plan, coordinate, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to ensure solution quality and secure business sign-off
• Support ERP and e-commerce integration initiatives, including APIs, EDI, and data workflow design
• Participate in global system rollouts/roll-ins and coordinate with all stakeholders
• Identify good use cases for Digital Transformation (DX) adoption and assist in identifying new technologies relevant for business growth.
Data Analytics & Insights
• Provide data analysis and reporting to support business decisions
• Collaborate with vendors or internal teams on introducing analytics platforms (like Power BI, Looker) and SQL-based data queries
• Define and drive dashboard adoption; promote a data-driven culture across business teams
Automation & AI Exploration
• Explore and pilot agentic AI tools for workflow automation, data processing, and efficiency improvements (e.g., prompt-driven process orchestration, RPA hand-offs)
• Identify opportunities for AI-driven enhancements in IT and business processes; propose experiments with clear success criteria
Vendor Management
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions and challenge proposals constructively
• Review and challenge cost breakdowns, licensing, and solution architecture; ensure delivery quality against SLAs and acceptance criteria
• Lead delivery governance cadences (status, demos, risk/issue tracking) and uphold documentation standards
E Commerce & Retail IT
• Support Magento/Adobe Commerce projects and integrations with ERP, OMS, WMS, and POS systems
• Understand retail operations and store setup processes to anticipate future data analytics needs
• Lead or support RFID implementation projects for inventory tracking and retail process automation
<REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE>
• A minimum of 5 years of practical IT project management, systems integration, or e-commerce technology, ideally within the retail or luxury sector
• A minimum of 3 years in-house IT experience. Apparel Fashion industry is plus.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Familiarity with APIs, EDI, and system integration concepts
• Exposure to ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle NetSuite) and e-commerce platforms (Magento/Adobe Commerce)
• Strong analytical skills; ability to work with data and vendors effectively
• Ability to work independently while demonstrating a strong sense of initiative and accountability
Educational Qualification
• A minimum of 5 years of practical IT project management, systems integration, or e-commerce technology, ideally within the retail or luxury sector
• A minimum of 3 years in-house IT experience. Apparel Fashion industry is plus.
