Job Description

Role Details Department: Marketing Operations Location: Delhi (HO) with Pan India responsibility Position Type: Full-time, On-Roll Individual contributor with cross-functional collaboration Key Responsibilities 1. Visual Merchandising: Conceptualization & Spatial Design - Brand Storytelling: Translate core brand pillarsโ€”ranging from extreme shock-resistance to premium Japanese artisanal craftsmanship (e.g., specialized polishing or intricate woodwork concepts)โ€”into compelling window and in-store displays. - Planogram & Guideline Creation: Develop scalable VM guidelines and planograms for different store formats (flagship boutiques, multi-brand outlets, and localized counters). - Premium Counter Development: Design bespoke retail experiences for high-end portfolio segments, ensuring lighting, materials, and spatial flow elevate the perceived value of the timepieces. 2. Flawless Execution & Project Management - Rollout Management: Oversee the end-to-end execution of seasonal campaigns, new product launches, and permanent structural updates across all retail touchpoints. - Vendor & Budget Management: Source and managing fabrication vendors, ensuring high-quality material output (acrylics, specialized woods, dynamic lighting) while strictly adhering to procurement budgets. - Quality Audits: Establish a routine audit system to ensure that ground-level execution matches the original conceptual blueprints without deviation 3. Store Staff Training & Capability Building - Translating VM to Sales: Train the retail staff not just in maintaining the display, but on using the VM as a sales tool. Staff must understand the "why" behind the design (e.g., why a specific watch is placed under a certain light or surrounded by specific materials) to effectively tell the product's story. - VM Maintenance Training: Create easy-to-follow SOPs for store staff to maintain the daily hygiene, alignment, and lighting of the watch displays. - Feedback Loop: Establish a system for store managers to report broken displays, lighting issues, or customer friction points regarding the merchandising. 4. Measurable Outcomes: - VM Guideline Compliance Rate (%): Percentage of stores strictly adhering to the seasonal planograms and display hygiene standards (measured via routine photo-audits or site visits). - On-Time Campaign Rollout (%): Percentage of stores where new campaign displays and window setups are installed on or before the targeted launch date. - Vendor Turnaround Time (TAT): Average time taken from design approval to prototype delivery and final installation. - Budget Variance (%): Adherence to the allocated quarterly or campaign-specific VM budget. Commercial & Business Impact Metrics - Sell-Through Rate on Focus SKUs (%): The uplift in sales for specific watch models highlighted in primary window displays or premium showcase counters compared to baseline periods. - Training Coverage (%): Percentage of targeted retail staff who have completed the VM standards and storytelling certification Candidate Profile Education: Any Graduation and MBA Experience: 6โ€“8 years in retail, fashion, or lifestyle industries Industry Preference: Large retail / fashion-driven organizations Domain Expertise: Visual Merchandising, Retail Design, Product Storytelling Technical Skills - Visual Merchandising and Planogram Development - Retail Space Design - Material Knowledge (glass, wood, metals, lighting) - Vendor Management, Budget Management, Project Management
