Job Description
DETAILS / ACCOUNTABILITIES:
As Service Engineer, you will contribute to MCO in its following three main activities:
1. Providing engineering services to Customers
(1) Provide first aid in case of emergency at site through close communication between
customer's site staffs and MCO engineers.
(2) Become a contact point of customers for all technical matters including customer service-
related queries (e.g., repair, parts), technical advisory service at site, consultation of service
scheme for new prospective projects.
(3) Keep in close contact with customers through frequent visit to the site to receive and clarify
their queries, and to explain them MCO’s queries and proposals.
(4) Follow up of customers status for submitted proposal to secure purchase order.
(5) The successful candidate will have ability to build / strengthen trust and relationships with
customers to satisfy their needs and develop mutually beneficial business relationship.
2. Communicating with MCO and MCO business partners
(1) Provide customer’s requests or any implicit needs to MCO and get their replies.
(2) Report a voice of customer, customer’s request including commercial matter and any
business-related circumstances in timely manner.
(3) Support MCO engineer’s job execution by providing necessary technical information and
advice properly and timely.
(4) Establish and maintain good communication network with MCO business partners (local
agents and service providers).
3. Technical Support to expand service business
(1) Promote service menus and TFA dispatch to increase sales volume of aftermarket
business.
(2) Get the voice of customers to find new service programs.
(3) Collecting/Analyzing market information and make new service menus

Required Qualification:
1. Must have Minimum 3 years of experience as design engineer of centrifugal compressors or
steam turbines, or 2 years as application engineer of centrifugal compressors and steam
turbines in petrochemical/ Oil & Gas industry, or 3 years as field engineer of centrifugal
compressors or steam turbines.
2. Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree required.
3. Good communications skills with a superior customer focus. Fluent in English and local
languages(Hindi).
4. Must have proficient experience & exposure to national and international engineering codes and
standards especially for American Petroleum Institute (API) standards.
5. Have willingness for experiencing continuous improvement processes. Experiences for
participating in lessons learned, Kaizen events, Six Sigma studies.
6. Have relevant experience with Petrochemical/Oil & Gas clients, products, industry standards
and the followings ;
a) General policy
• QCD management / to do what was decided
• To write down information and data on documents quantitatively with skillfulness of
engineering/manufacturing at shop and site
• Quick response to clients
b) Application of experienced technology
• Design enhancement of minor parts based on standard design application
experience with very low risk in terms of integrity
• Robustness and performance (rotor dynamics and efficiency)
• Design enhancement of major key parts based on experience with moderate risk
control according to analysis results for strength and performance
c) Spare Parts Proposal and Technical Support for Reliability
Provide appropriate proposals for spare parts supply and improvement items in alignment
with customer maintenance schedules and operational needs.
Utilize experienced technology and collaborate with Japan counterparts to recommend
component improvements, ensuring proper risk management.
Conduct sales activities and technical support to maintain equipment reliability and ensure
the integrity of customer plant operations.

Educational Qualification
Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree required.
