Sales Engineer/Sr. Sales engineer – Semiconductor Industry
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to support and
grow our business within the semiconductor industry. The ideal candidate will combine
strong technical knowledge with sales and relationship-management capabilities to identify
customer needs, propose technical solutions, and drive revenue growth. This role involves
working closely with semiconductor manufacturers, OEMs, fabs, design houses, and
industrial customers to promote products, solutions, and services.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in the semiconductor
ecosystem.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence within
semiconductor manufacturing, packaging, testing, and automation sectors.
Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable products or
solutions.
Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution proposals to
customers.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and application teams to provide customized
solutions.
Support RFQs, quotations, pricing negotiations, and contract discussions.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer
satisfaction.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging semiconductor technologies.
Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and customer visits.
Maintain CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reports.
Provide post-sales technical support and account management when required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor
Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
3–8 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or business
development within the semiconductor industry.
Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, ICs, wafer
fabrication, packaging, testing, or related technologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into business
solutions.
Experience working with semiconductor equipment, automation systems, electronic
components, or industrial solutions is preferred.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor
Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
