Job Description
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Operations related to the start-up of a new plant
• Support procurement, logistics, inventory, and on-site operational activities
• Assist in preparing material procurement plans, logistics routes, and inventory policies for plant operations
• Support warehouse layout planning, inbound/outbound flow setup, and operational launch activities
• Assist in stabilizing operations after plant start-up and promoting continuous improvements
Material procurement and supplier management
• Handle procurement activities for raw materials, parts, and subcontracted processed goods
• Support supplier negotiations regarding pricing and commercial conditions, and assist in contract management
• Conduct procurement cost analysis and implement cost reduction initiatives
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, production control, accounting, systems, and headquarters procurement teams
Logistics and customs clearance operations
• Support domestic and overseas logistics operations
• Handle import/export customs clearance procedures and related documentation
• Coordinate with forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse vendors
• Assist in optimizing transportation costs, lead times, and logistics quality
• Ensure compliance with trade-related laws and regulations
Inventory management
• Support raw material inventory management activities
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and monitor slow-moving inventory
• Conduct inventory variance analysis and corrective actions
• Support inventory KPI monitoring and reporting
On-site operations management
• Support warehouse, inbound/outbound, and on-site logistics operations
• Assist in improving workflows and operational standards
• Support the establishment of operational rules considering safety, quality, and productivity
• Provide guidance and operational support to on-site staff and subcontractors
Improvement activities
• Support operational improvements across procurement, logistics, inventory, and site operations
• Monitor KPIs and operational progress
• Support team building and human resource development
Educational Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or Supply Chain preferred
